The Lone Star Chapter engages the mothers and daughters in leadership roles each year they are a member of NCL, Inc. The girls (ticktockers) begin to learn how to run their grade level meetings starting in the 7th grade continuing through the 12th grade. Their year is centered around the six year experience which embraces the three pillars of NCL, Inc. Each grade level has a governing board that is supported by various committee roles.
By comparison, the mothers (patronesses) also govern the business of the chapter as mandated by national and chapter policies and procedures. They are also responsible for mentoring the girls, being liaisons to our community philanthropy partners as well as chairing our required events which include the mother/daughter Chapter Tea, Senior Recognition and the Awards and Recognition event.
